. Cluster headaches are classified as primary headaches within the group of trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias (TAC). They occur as either Episodic Cluster Headache (ECH) or Chronic Cluster Headache (CCH). The excruciating pain suffered during attacks, causes a poor quality of life.
